about

The portable nightlight Coney accompanies
children on their way to their parents‘ bedroom or the bathroom through the
darkness. On the flattened side of the light ball, Coney can be left on any surface independently from the charging station.

ideation

What form is suitable for a portable light
including a fixed charging station?
How can the night light be designed to appeal to both children and adults?

By tapping on the flattened side of the light ball Coney can be switched on and off by touch activation. By drawing a circle with your finger on that surface, the light can be dimmed individually. In the base station, Coney can be charged via USB-C port.
